Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide the earth and sand separating device capable of lessening the generation of low-frequency sounds or vibrations. CONSTITUTION:An upper screen 1 and a lower screen are mounted on a first frame body 21 and a second frame body 23 respectively and a planar body 22 is mounted on the second frame body 23. Both frame bodies are independently supported by prescribed elastic members respectively. On the other hand, the first frame body 21 and the second frame body 23 are provided with a first exciter 6 and a second exciter 26 respectively. Further, the separating device is provided with a control section capable of controlling at least either of the first exciter 6 and the second exciter 26 in such a manner that the first exciter 6 and the second exciter 26 vibrate at substantially the same vibration frequency and antiphases from each other.
