VIDEO GAME APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To improve fun of a video game apparatus used by a plurality of players by providing a video game controller with a character table so that respective players input a character data change indicating signal from a remote control for the player and can change independently the character being displayed on respective display image planes. CONSTITUTION:A remote control 22 for a player A and remote control 23 for a player B are connected to a game controller 21 to which the players A, B send indicating signals from the remote controls 22, 23 respectively. The controller 21 practices common game program 25 on the basis of the signals indicated by the respective remote controls 22, 23. Further, the controller 21 houses a character table 24 so that it can independently inputs the picture image having character sets corresponding to the players A, B respectively to a view control type display 20.
