IMAGE COPYING METHOD

PURPOSE:To surely reflect correction such as color correction on a display device onto a printed matter by displaying a design original picture onto the display device based on a binarized signal, converting the color of the design original picture into a desired color, and controlling an ink jet device based on the converted binarized signal so as to print a pattern onto the printed matter. CONSTITUTION:Image data read by an image input device 11 comprising as image scanner are separated for a specific color by a color converter 10 and an output image data memory 19 stores a picture element level replaced with an output object color. Then the level is binarized by, e.g. the organized dither method in a binary processing section 20 and displayed on a color CRT display device 21. Image data displayed on the CRT display device 21, e.g. a print pattern is corrected afterward. The output object color is revised into an optional color by designating a color tone, a lightness and a saturation. The corrected binarized data are fed to an ink jet device 22.
