CHARGING UNIT FOR SINTERING RAW MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To manufacture sintered ore of high quality with high yield by eliminating an avalanche on an oblique surface of a raw material formed in a pallet, and forming a raw material layer having a particle size distribution so segregated that rough particles exist in a lower part and fine particles exist in an upper part. CONSTITUTION:A charging unit for a sintering raw material has a raw material supply unit 1 and a chute for charging raw material to be supplied in a pallet 30 to be formed in a screen state, and comprises a drum chute 5 disposed at a position where the material is dropped from a raw material supplying unit, and a screenlike chute 11 connected to the drum chute and inclined in a direction opposite to a moving direction of the pallet. Most of the material fed from the supplying unit is once dropped on the drum chute, then steadily slidably dropped by its rotation, and hence the material is sufficiently classified in the screenlike chute and charged without impact to a material layer.
