Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a metallic mold for forming a foam pattern, in which a passage for air or heating steam can be formed in a large opening area and small man-hours. CONSTITUTION:In the metallic mold for forming the foam pattern having a narrow cavity part 13 at least at a part of the cavity 3, a slit cutting hole 14 communicating the inner part with the outer part is arranged in the mold surface of at least the narrow cavity part 13. The cutting hole 14 can be formed very easily as compared with the case of arranging many holes of small vents or fine holes to obtain the total opening area same as the large opening area while preventing the passing-through of raw material beads.
