METHOD FOR IMPROVING RESIDENTIAL AREA ENVIRONMENT AND AIR FLOW DIFFUSER USED THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To improve an environment of a residential area of an office, etc., by installing a diffuser of a high speed air flow near an exhaust port of an OA apparatus, and transferring exhaust heat from the apparatus to a non- residential area near a ceiling by an inducing operation of the air flow to be injected from the diffuser. CONSTITUTION:Warm or cold air from an air conditioner is injected from an air conditioning diffuser of a tile carpet into an office 1 through a space 5 under a free-access-floor and exhausted from a plurality of exhaust ports 11 provided at a ceiling surface 7 thereby to air condition the office 1. In such a facility, an air diffuser 9 is installed in front of a desk 13 in which an exhaust port 17 of an OA apparatus 15 is opened. The diffuser 9 is connected to the diffuser of the carpet through a supply tube 19 integral with the diffuser 9, and connected with a bellow tube 23 extended from a supply tube 21. Thus, exhaust heat (h) injected from the port 17 is induced to a high speed air flow A without diffusing it to a residence area 1a, and exhausted from the ports 11.
