COMBUSTION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To enable a lift and a vibratory combustion to be prevented from being generated by a method wherein a flame hole surface of a thick side burner is formed into a mountainlike shape and this mountainlike shape flame hole surface is projected upwardly above a flame hole surface of an adjacent thin flame burner. CONSTITUTION:A mountainlike shape flame hole surface 11 of a thick flame burner 3 is projected upwardly over a thin flame hole surface 13 of an adjacent thin flame burner 2 and is inclined at a certain angle in such a way that a thick flame and a thin flame formed in the mountainlike flame hole surface 11 are directed to the root of the adjoining thin flame. With such an arrangement as above, the thick flame and the thin flame formed on the mountain like flame hole surface 11 at the thick side flame burner 3 during combustion is formed on both sides, and directed toward the root of the thin flame formed at a flame hole surface 13 of the adjacent thin flame burner 2, resulting in that the thick flame may act for stabilizing the thick flame without useless effect. With such an arrangement as above, the root of the thin flame is stabled and it is possible to prevent occurrence of lift and vibratory combustion from being produced.
