ELEVATOR TYPE MULTISTORY PARKING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To improve the accommodation efficiency for vehicles by supporting a reinforcing member in a placed state on the whole in the width direction of a pallet on a turning board and upwardly shifting the reinforcing member by a receiving member, at the lower position of the pallet which is placed and supported on an elevator board. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing member 19 which is placed in an upward shiftable manner in a turning board 3a and supports nearly the whole in the width direction of a pallet P is installed. Then, at the lower position of the pallet P which is placed on an elevator board 8a and is supported, a receiving member 20 which places the reinforcing member 19 in an upwardly shiftable manner is installed. When the elevator board 8a is raised and the pallet P on the turning board 3a is transferred to the elevator board 8a, the elevator board 8a supports the pallet P over the reinforcing member 19 placed on the receiving member 20. When the elevator board 8a lowers, and the reinforcing member 19 on the elevator board 8a is transferred to the turning board 3a, the turning board 3a supports the pallet P through the reinforcing member 19. Accordingly, the necessity of the reinforcing member on each parking sheet can be obviated, and the pallet P can be accommodated, and the arrangement pitch interval the upper and lower parking shelves can be reduced.
