Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To seal a parting surface with resin by providing a resin reservior near the parting surface of a cavity formed by a fixed die and a movable die and filling the cavity with an energy-curable resin to cure only the resin in the resin reservior. CONSTITUTION:A resin reservior 15 is provided on the parting surface of a cavity 13 formed by a fixed die 11 and a movable die 12. An optically durable resin filled into the cavity 13 is prevented from leaking by first allowing only the resin reservior 15 to be cured and thereby, sealing the parting surface against the resin. Further, the optically curable resin is injected the cavity 13 at a constant pressure. In this case, the curable resin is injected by an amount proportional to an estimated coefficient of curing contraction. Consequently, it is possible to fill the cavity 13 with only a specified amount of resin and thereby improve the accuracy of the optical parts.
