Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To mount a welding robot with the number of a few workers and with satisfactory efficiency in a short time. CONSTITUTION:In this structure for mounting a welding robot automatically welding the outer periphery of the joint part of a square or a round steel frame column 2, a traveling rail 5 is fixed on the outer periphery of the steel frame 2, and a traveling stand 4 mounting a mounting stand 8 supporting a robot main body 1, is freely and movably mounted on the traveling rail 5. A projecting part 12 suspending the robot main body 1 through an engaging pin 10 fitted on the upper part of the mounting stand 8 is provided on the upper part of the traveling stand 4. A fixing means fixing the lower part of the mounting stand 8 is provided on the lower part of the traveling stand 4. A pinion 24 being rotated by a drive device 25 of the robot main body 1 is mounted on the mounting stand 8. This pinion 24 is engaged with a rack 6 mounted on the traveling rail 5.
