Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: To impart lubricant molecules to the damaged regions which arise within the lubricating layer of a disk at a high speed by dynamically adsorbing a lubricant into cavities including the regions having defects if such regions exist in a lubricatable layer. CONSTITUTION: A storage system is utilized in order to impart the lubricant adsorptive sticking to the region of the thin-film magnetic recording disk which has the defect in the bonded lubricant layer or is thin to the inadequate extent. The satd. gaseous lubricant entrains in the air flow shown by an arrow 7 and emerges from the outlet of a storage device 3. The disk 5 is exposed to the regulated air flow 7 which enables the adsorption of the gaseous lubricant molecules onto the bonded lubricant surface 4 having the cell cavities. The gaseous molecules entrain in air flow of an arrow 8 from the lubricant surface 4 and returns to the storage device 3. The air flows 7, 8 are generated by rotating the disk 5 to form a gas moving system. The cells on the lubricant surface of the disk 5 are then adsorbed into the cavities and the monomolecular layer is yielded with high reliability. The gaseous molecules are thereby imparted at a high speed to the damaged regions. |
