REGISTERING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide a registering machine which is simplified in operation for registering an article which should be weighed without fail. CONSTITUTION:When the article which should be weighed without fail is mounted on the weighing table 20a of a scale 20 and the PLU code of the article is inputted by using a key input means 15, a control means 4 which constitutes a central arithmetic processor 2 retrieves a corresponding PLU code by referring to a PLU setting file 11 in a 1st memory 7. The PLU setting file 11 is stored with whether or not the corresponding article should be weighed and a judging means 3 judges the weighed article should be weighed on the basis of the information. According to this judgement, the control means 4 reads weight data out of the scale 20 through a serial interface 19 and an arithmetic means 5 performs arithmetic such as the multiplication of the weight and unit price of the article. The control means 4 stores the arithmetic result in a sales data file 12 in a 2nd memory 8.
