CONSTITUTION:The sheet for producing gold and silver yarns is provided with a synthetic resin film, a 500-1500Angstrom thick silver coating provided on one surface of the film and a 5-40Angstrom thick protecting layer over the silver coating. The protecting layer is formed of a substance selected from Si, Al, Ba, Ca, Ce, In, Pb, Li, K, Mg, Na, Sn, Ti, Zn, Zr, Mo, Ta, W, Fe, Sr, V, Th, Sb, Pt, Bi, Y, Ge, oxides, fluorides, nitrides and carbides of the metals.
