ALARM CLOCK

PURPOSE:To obtain an alarm clock which makes execution of illumination possible without necessitating a troublesome operation, without disturbing a sleep and without consuming a useless current. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 15 compares information on the current time counted by a current time counting circuit 1 with information on alarm set time stored by an alarm set time storage circuit 16, when an alarm set switch 7 is in an ON state, i.e., closed, and when an output of a sensor part 12 shows a dark state. When the current time is contained in a time zone ranging from the time one hour after an alarm is set to an alarm time or when an alarm sound is being generated, the control circuit 15 makes a dial plate light-emitting part 13 emit a light to illuminate an analog time indication part of a time indication part 6.
