MEMBRANE MATERIAL STRUCTURE FOR BUILDING

PURPOSE:To improve accommodating capacity and fine appearance by forming a membrane material lapping section having a fixed width along a direction crossing a folding up direction on plural spots set up at intervals in the folding up direction of the membrane material, and truing up the membrane materials at the lapping section and folding up them. CONSTITUTION:When a winch winds up a hoisting wire 60, the lower end of a membrane material 42 is hung up, and lateral sash bars 45, 44, 43 and an upper frame 41 are also drawn up in order. Next the membrane 42 is moved upward with the above drawing up of the sash bars and the upper frame as it is folded up to close an elevating port 10. Next, in this case, the membrane material 42 is foldedly bent in the same direction as the foldedly bent direction of the lapping section 46. Fine appearance in a folded up state can thus be improved, and an accommodating section can be made compact.
