PURPOSE:To provide a heater in which heaters and temperature sensors are simple in construction, by a construction wherein two electrodes are disposed with an organic resin temperature sensor therebetween, the electrodes function also as heaters connected to an AC power source, a switch is provided for selecting the heaters, a magnetic core is provided which intersects with two feeder wires for one of the heaters, and passing of an electric current to the heater selected by the switch is controlled by a relay operated in response to an output from a conductor winding intersecting with the magnetic core. CONSTITUTION:The electrodes 11a, 12a are disposed opposite to each other, with the organic resin temperature sensor 10 therebetween. An electric current passed through the sensor 10 between the heaters 11, 12 intersects with the magnetic core 21 after passing through the feeder wires 19, 20, so that it can be detected through an output voltage generated between both ends of the conductor winding 22. The output of the winding 22 is inputted to an amplifier 25, a relay 26 is operated by an output from the amplifier 25 to control the passing of electric current of the heater 11 or 12, thereby automatically controlling temperature.
