PURPOSE:To obtain a necessary copy efficiently, by specifying a necessary part on the screen of an interactive input device, and outputting it with a laser printer. CONSTITUTION:Picture information of an original is converted into an electric signal, which is stored in a semiconductor memory. This semiconductor memory 2 is of one-page size. A disk memory 4 has large capacity so that interchange of data with the semiconductor memory 2 is made possible. An operator indicates a part on a digitizer 6 with a stylus pen. The indicated part is displayed on a CRT7 together with the original. The part specified with the stylus pen is read out of the memory 2 and outputted on a laser printer 3. Picture processing is facilitated by plural microprocessors, so the operation is easy.
