Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a detecting equipment for a landslide which can detect a premonitory symptom of the landslide as well and by which a distance which can be monitored can be made long. CONSTITUTION:In regard to detecting equipment for a landslide, two optical fibers 3A and 3B are laid in a place where the landslide is to be monitored, and the light having wavelengths of high coherence is propagated through these two optical fibers. By monitoring a change in the phase difference of this propagated light by a light interference detector 5, a change in the configuration of the ground due to the landslide or a premonitory symptom of the landslide is detected.
