Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a detecting equipment for a landslide which can detect a premonitory symptom of the landslide or the landslide itself by optical fibers. CONSTITUTION:In regard to detecting equipment of a landslide, two optical fibers are laid in parallel in a place for which the landslide is to be monitored, light given to these two optical fibers 3A and 3B from a light source 1, and the light given from the light source 1 is transmitted to a terminal through the two optical fibers. The light transmitted to the terminal is converted into electric signals by means of photodetectors and the quantity of light of the optical fiber 3B on one side and the quantity of light of the optical fiber 3A are compared with each other on the basis of the levels of these electric signals. When the quantity of light of the optical fiber 3A lowers below a prescription, it is determined that the landslide is present.
