Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a high definition picture by adopting the sequential scanning system so as to attain the compatibility with the conventional broadcast system (NTSC, PAL, SECAM or the like). CONSTITUTION:A signal quantized by an A/D converter 4 is inputted to a buffer memory 5 and a data for one frame's share, that is, 525 scanning lines' share is written in order in 1/30sec. In reading the data from the buffer memory, a scanning line of an odd number order is read in the first 1/60sec and the even number order of scanning line is read in the latter 1/60sec. The vertical resolution is improved by 70% in comparison with the conventional NTSC system by scanning a signal sequentially by 525 scanning lines in one frame in case of display.
