Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To produce a bulky self-adhesive tape without causing cissing on a substrate by a simple process by spraying a liq. photopolymerizable monomer compsn. to thereby photopolymerize it in a state of fine droplets and depositing the resulting polymer on the substrate. CONSTITUTION:A self-adhesive tape comprising a substrate 7 and a self-adhesive layer 8 formed on at least one side thereof is produced by spraying a liq. photopolymerizable monomer compsn. 5 as fine droplets from the upper part of a prepolymn. chamber 1 in an inert atmosphere, irradiating the droplets with light to prepolymerize them, depositing the prepolymerized droplets on the substrate 7 fed to the bottom of the chamber 1, and irradiating further with light to substantially complete the polymn.
