Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To shorten time spent until a next object to be checked can be checked by providing an attachment vaporization heater for heating the tip of a heating needle after the heating needle leaves the object, in a device for testing a thermal cracking gas generated when the thermal needle comes in contact with a plastic waste. CONSTITUTION:A thermal needle 2 is provided in a main probe system 1 and a contact adjustment ring 3 slides out and in freely inside a tip part through a compression spring 4. In addition, a likewise cylindrical attachment vaporization heater 5 is provided on the inner surface of the ring 3 or in the main probe system 1 so that the inner temperature is maintained at a constant level so as to enable the plastic to be vaporized instantaneously. The ring 3, after coming in contact with an object to be checked, recedes into the main probe system 1 with the heater 5, causing the thermal needle 2 to come in contact with the object. Further, after detection operation, both ring 3 and heater 5 are pushed out of the main probe system 1, and the thermal needle 2 enters into the heater 5, being separated from the object, thus resulting in the complete vaporization of an attachment. The thermal cracking gas generated by the object is sent to a HCl detector.
