PRESSURE CONTACT CONNECTOR FOR UNBUNDLED WIRES

PURPOSE: To obtain a press-contacting connector for a barbed wire by which wires can be easily aligned, resistance to tension is made satisfactory, and reduction in size is enabled. CONSTITUTION: A press-contacting connector for a barbed wire includes a press- contacting cover 2, having a main body part 1 which has press-contacting contacts 31 , 32 and guide means for guiding the respective wires 4 of barbed wires to be connected to the positions corresponding to the press-contacting contacts 31 , 32 , the wire 4 is held and pressed between the main body part 1 and the press-contacting cover 2, and the respective wires 4 are electrically brought into contact with press-contacting contacts 31 , 32 to be held. The guide means is an array of projections provided at designated intervals in the array direction of the electric wire 4, and three or more lines of projections are provided in a direction vertical to the array direction.
