Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide an installation structure for a luminaire having a large installation freedom degree in which the apparatus can be installed easily without applying work even when a suspension bolt is suspended at a position of a cord inserting hole. CONSTITUTION:A luminaire is provided for installing an apparatus main body 1 of the luminaire on a wall surface (ceiling) W such as a ceiling surface. The apparatus main body 1 is provided with installation holes 5 for installing the apparatus main body 1 on the wall surface W, and a knockout part 6 which is cut except for part of it is provided, and a cord insertion hole 7 for inserting cord such as a power supply cord is provided at the knockout part.
