INTER-APPLICATION PROGRAM COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To easily exchange a document between word processors different in types. CONSTITUTION:A KANJI(Chinese character) input system recognition part 5 identifies the type the KANJI input system of a transfer destination application program 2. A key input data generation part 6 converts KANJI in transfer character string data 4 from a transfer source application program 1 into key input data adjusted to the type of the KANJI input system 3 in the transfer destination application program 2 and converts a character except for KANJI in transfer character string data into key input data when it is inputted from a keyboard 8. A key input switching part 7 switches the transfer source of key input data transferred to the transfer destination application program 2 to the key input data generation part 6 or the keyboard 8 in accordance with a request from a host device.
