Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide the linear actuator which suppresses an increase in weight to a necessary irreducible value as a driving force increases. CONSTITUTION:The linear actuator is equipped with a permanent magnet 2 which has one magnetic pole coupled with an end surface of a cylindrical center yoke 1 and the other magnetic pole coupled with an outer yoke 3 facing the cylindrical surface of the center yoke 1 at a specific interval, and a moving coil 4 is arranged between the outer yoke 3 and center yoke 1 so that the coil can move out and in; and the permanent magnet 2 is formed in a ring shape having an internal diameter larger than the external diameter of the moving coil 4.
