Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To restrain an edge effect at the time of developing by reducing a potential difference between a developed area and an undeveloped area in a multicolor image device. CONSTITUTION: In order to form a multicolor image, recharge is performed by a recharge device 36 and exposure is performed by a 2nd exposure device 38. The charge level of the developed area is lowered by an erasing lamp 34 before a recharge stage by the recharge device 36, and the potential difference between the developed area and the undeveloped area after the recharge is reduced.
