Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To prevent a scal flaw from being generated by injecting high pressure water spray having specified collision pressure and flow rate on the surface of a steel plate before finish rolling. CONSTITUTION:When steel material is hot-rolled to produce the hot rolled steel plate, high pressure water spray of 20-180[g/mm ] collision pressure per unit dispersion area and 0.1-0.6[l/(min, mm )] flow rate us injected on the surface of the steel plate. Austenitic stainless steel is suitable for the steel material. High pressure water spray of 60-170[g/mm ] collision pressure and 0.1-0.2[l/(min, mm )] flow rate is infected on an austenitic stainless steel containing >=0.06% Si. In this way, hard-to-peel scales can be removed surely without receiving operational constraint.
