Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To ensure high luminous efficiency, even with a slight layer thickness of a conductive layer by making not only high accelerating voltage but also scanty irradiation energy to an output screen which is possible in an X-ray image generating device. CONSTITUTION: An X-ray image intensifier is provided with an input screen 6 with a photocathode 9, an output screen 11, accelerating and focusing electrodes 16-18 for an electronic optical system, and an anode 10 which is arranged in a region of the output screen 11, for applying an accelerating voltage. A high-voltage generator connected to the electrodes 9, 10, 16-18 is provided, and the anode 10 is provided with a connection part for two different voltages, connected to the high-voltage generating device. It is constituted so that an adjustable first voltage applied to the anode 10 in a region of the output screen 11 is lower than a second voltage applied to the anode 10 side, facing the photocathode 9.
