Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To obtain high luminous efficiency with a relatively thin output fluorescent screen by applying a voltage, lower than the accelerating voltage applied to a second anode part on the input screen side, to a first anode part arranged near an output screen. CONSTITUTION: A photodiode 9 of an X-ray image intensifier, and electrodes 16-18 and anode parts 21, 22 of an electronic optical system are connected to a high-voltage generating device 2. The device 2 supplies an accelerating voltage and a braking voltage, suitable for the constituent parts and voltage for the electronic optical system. A photocathode 9 and a metallic casing part of the device 2 are placed at zero potential. As accelerating voltage, voltage of 30kV, for instance, is applied to a second anode part 22. The first anode part 21 is placed in a potential of 5-25kV, for instance, and is adjustable by an adjustment operating element 24 of the device 2. As a result, the electrons are braked in the region of an anode 10.
