SURFACE TREATING JIG

PURPOSE:To carry out efficient surface treatment with electric resistance reduced by providing plural protruding edges on the jig main body, abutting a material to be surface-treated on the end face of the edge and fixing the material with a clamp. CONSTITUTION:The hook 12 of a conductive jig 11 is suspended from an electrode rod 10, and a jig main body 13 extended vertically is fixed to the hook 12. Equally spaced plural projecting edges 14 are integrally furnished to the main body 13, a material 18 to be surface-treated is abutted on the end face 15 of the edge 14, and the material 18 is held by a clamp 16 and fixed by a fastener 17. The jig 11 fixing the material 18 is dipped in a liq. phase, a current is applied to the material 18 from the electrode rod 10 through the hook 12, main body 13 and end face 15, and the material is surface-treated. Consequently, the material is efficiently surface-treated, and a uniform and good surface layer is obtained.
