CONSTITUTION:In decoloring and purifying an aminoethyl halide mineral acid salt obtained by synthesis from various raw materials such as chlorination of an amino-alcohol or chlorination of an ethyleneimine, an aqueous solution of the aminoethyl halide mineral acid salt is mixed with an organic solvent, especially a ketone and/or an ester as an extracting solvent and a colored component is extracted and separated to decolor and purify the aminoethyl halide mineral acid salt.
