Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of a cutter edge due to the strike of the edge of the cutter, when printed paper sheets are cut, and also to prevent the occurrence of jamming of paper sheets. CONSTITUTION:A paper sheet cutting mechanism comprises a cutter driving part consisting of a cutter edge 3 that slides for cutting printed paper sheets, a cutter cover 2 for sheathing the cutter edge 3, and a cutter plate 4 for transmitting power to the cutter edge 3, and a cutter-edge receiver capable of performing turning motion and provided with a cutter guide 5 that is opposite to the paper-sheet carrying passage 9 and fitted to another member provided separately from the cutter driving part, a cutter spring 7, and a special screw 6; and printed paper sheets are cut by the cutter edge 3. Thus, the fitting of printed paper sheets and the cutting thereof can be easily and securely carried out, and also the removal of jammed paper sheets can be easily carried out.
