METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CLEANING ALGAE OR THE LIKE

PURPOSE:To allow algae, etc., to perish or to weaken them, to suppress a decrease of the dissolved oxygen quantity in a water area, and to prevent existence of fish from being jeopardized by providing an algae, etc., disposal area by an opaque cover in a prescribed part on the open water face, feeding in the algae, etc., under this algae, etc., disposal area together with water, and allowing them to be stagnant. CONSTITUTION:In the center part of a lake 1, an artificial island 2 is floated and in the lower part in the center of this artificial island 2, an intermittent air pumping device 3 is installed at a prescribed interval. In such a state, pressurized air is fed into an air chamber 8 of the intermittent air pumping device 3 through an air feed hoes, a water level in the air chamber 8 is pushed up, and thereafter, water in a pumping cylinder 7 is allowed to ascend by allowing it to ascend as foam balls in the pumping cylinder 7. That is, by the foam balls discharged successively, water is sucked from the lower part and discharged from the upper part, and by a water flow (circulating water) formed thereby, algae, etc., are accumulated in the lower part of the artificial island 2. The accumulated algae, etc., perish due to a fact that a solar light is obstructed by the artificial island 2, and also, by blowing out high pressure air, the residual oxygen quantity in the water increases.
