DEBUGGING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide a debugging device capable of efficiently executing debugging operation at the time of debugging software and hardware. CONSTITUTION:The debugging device for substitutively controlling a target system in accordance with an operation program stored in a user substituting memory 70 is provided with a jump control part 24 for setting up a prescribed address or a prescribed address range of an operation program in a jump range specifying memory 241, suppressing the execution of an instruction set up in the address and stored in the memory 70 by a cycle detecting circuit 249, inserting a jump instruction for setting up a required address set up in a jump address memory 246 as an address to be jumped by a jump instruction inserting circuit 250, and continuously executing an instruction in the address jumped by the jump instruction.
