PRODUCTION OF ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC DEVELOPER CARRIER

PURPOSE:To provide the developer carrier with which initial fluctuations are decreased and stable image densities are obtd. by subjecting the developer carrier to a free resin removal treatment and removing the free resin from the surface of the developer carrier. CONSTITUTION:The developer carrier is successively subjected to resin coating, curing and loosening stages and thereafter, the resulted developer carrier is further subjected to the free resin removal treatment, by which the free resin is removed from the developer carrier surface. The developer carrier successively subjected to the resin coating, curing and loosening stages in such a manner is further subjected to the free resin removal treatment to remove the free resin from the developer carrier surface, by which the peeling of the carrier from the free resin and the successive emission thereof from the inside of a developing tank to cause the initial fluctuation of the image density and the instability of image quality are obviated in spite of the repetitive execution of copying. The bright images are thus formed.
