PURPOSE:To provide the hinges provided with washers and screws which are usable even for hinges consisting of hard materials, such as titanium and titanium alloy, have excellent lubricity, heat resistance, chemical resistance and coloring property do not generate electrochemical corrosion and have durability by subjecting the powder of a fully arom. polyimide resin to pressing and baking, thereby molding the washers and screws. CONSTITUTION:The washers and screws of the polyimide resin obtd. by compression pressing and baking are used for the hinges. The washers and screws fit to the hinges which are mating materials as initial wear generates therein. Since the washers and screws have self-lubricity, the wear after the initial wear is gentle and the stable and smooth operating and closing actions are executed. The expansion and shrinkage change by heat is suppressed to a lower level and the wear resistance is improved by incorporating graphite into the powder of the fully arom. polyimide resin. The various physical and chemical characteristics of the resulted washers and screws are derived by changing the amt. of the graphite to be incorporated therein.
