Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a manufacturing method at the time of manufacturing a toothed cylindrical parts such as clutch drum for speed gear changer in e.g. an automatic car. CONSTITUTION:A belt-like intermediate part 2 having a prescribed width in parallel with a longitudinal side (a) in a rectangular blank material 1 is provided and plural tooth formed parts 3, 4 are disposed to both sides holding the belt- like intermediate part 2 therebetween. Then a progressive pressing work is executed by a progressive pressing die 10 having plural teeth parts 13a, 15b. After forming the tooth part (t) in the tooth forming parts 3, 4, both lateral sides (b), (b) in the formed blank 1a are welded to form the cylindrical blank, and by cutting the intermediate part 2, plural ring gear blanks 1a, 1a are manufactured.
