Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To reduce dimensions such as a height of a driver by mooring an electromagnetic brake to a bearing supporting member and locating it in a rotor housing of a motor. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic brake device 82 is moored to a bearing supporting tube 11 and is located in a rotor housing 26 of a motor. A movable armature 65 of the electromagnetic brake device 82 has a cylinder-shaped section 66, which is moved to a circular ring-shaped section 68 extending at right angles with a drive shaft 16 of the motor. While the brake device 82 is in operation, the circular ring-shaped section 68 is brought into contact by pressure with a frictional lining 69 fastened to an inner face 70 at the bottom of the rotor housing 26. Due to this structure, the dimensions such as the height of a driver can be made as small as possible, while the output is being maintained.
