CHANNEL SELECTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To enable a viewer to simultaneously confirm pictures of all channels on the television receiver to easily select an objective program. CONSTITUTION:An operator 2 is provided with a cursor control button and a state switching button. A first channel selecting voltage generating circuit 3 successively generates tuning voltages of all channels and gives them to an electronic tuner 1 through a channel select tuning voltage switching circuit 5. Television signals of selected channels are converted to plural still slave pictures. When the cursor control button of the operator 2 is operated, the cursor is moved to mark a specific slave picture. When the state switching button is depressed, the tuning voltage of the channel specified by the cursor is outputted to the electronic tuner 1 from a second channel select voltage generating circuit 4 to select this channel.
