Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide the safe digital copying machine producing stable picture quality at a low cost by collecting a fixture device exposure lamp, and CCD of a lens reading section being a heat generation source, to one place and effectively discharging heat outside by using one suction fan. CONSTITUTION:In the digital copying machine having a picture reading device A and a fixture device 45 fixing transfer picture on transfer paper, the picture reading device A equipped with an original placing plate, 1st mirror 14, V mirror unit 15, and lens reading section 20 consisting of the lens and CCD is designed to scan the original and read the contents of it. The upper part of the device 45 is taken as one part of the scanning area of the 1st mirror 14. The inner fixture device 45 of the entire scanning area of the 1st mirror 14 is taken as the end reference side of an original 10 and a cooling fan 50 is provided in the vicinity of it.
