VIDEO TAPE RECORDER

PURPOSE:To simplify the input of a title by automatically inputting the teletext title to an IC memory mounted on a cassette. CONSTITUTION:A text signal is superimposed in the horizontal signal of a part of the vertical fly-back period of a video signal and demodulated by a decoder 13 then temporarily stored in the memory 14 as a binary coded signal. A service page of program guide can be called out in the manner of selecting the specified page inputted from an operation part 17 by a control part 15. A channel, date and time, etc., are registered in a timer part 18 when the selection is made. The channel, starting date and time, video recording time length, and title from the decoder 13 are stored in the memory 14 by the operation of control part 15. At the start time of timer, a TV signal is demodulated to the video/audio signals by a timer part 12 and recorded on a tape 23 by a head 20 through a process part 19. When the recording is started, the channel, title, video recording time, etc., are recorded in the memory 22 through an IC memory writing/reading part 21, then the title is easily inputted.
