SIMULATOR FOR INFORMATION PROCESSOR AND SIMULATION METHOD

PURPOSE:To verify the operation and specification of an information processor including an application program in short time by providing a model display means, a monitor means, a model simulation means and a device control simulation means. CONSTITUTION:The model display function part 1 displays the appearance of the information processor being the object of simulation. The monitor function part 2 monitors the operation for an alteration device altering a device operated by an external cause. The device control simulation function part 3 simulates the device control of the information processor to be simulated and controls the alternative device. The model simulation function part 4 simulates the operation of a display model so that an operation as against the operation is actually executed in the information processor in accordance with the operation of the alternative device. The application program 6 uses the devices which are actually used for the information processor as they are, and a device control part 7 controls the various devices of a simulator.
