JOIST SLAB CONSTRUCTION BY USE OF SEMI-PC CURVED FACE PLATE

PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent strength, by arranging unbond PC steel members at both sides, and forming a semi-PC curved face plate having protruded steel rods at all over the upper face thereof to shape an arch in order to construct a joist slab. CONSTITUTION:A RC made semi-PC curved plate 1 with a protruded and curved lateral section, having protruded steel rods 3, 4 at all over the upper face and buried unbond PC steel member 5 at both sides are laid down between large beams. Main slab reinforcing steel bars 6 are arranged on this semi-PC curved plate 1 and concrete is placed. The joists 10a are formed on the joist slab 10 every specified interval as a unit to do the same function with a small beam. Thrust forces S, S generate at both sides of the semi-PC curved face plate 1 and cancel each other by the mutual restriction of the adjacent curved face plates to prevent the deformation of this curved face plates and increase the structural strength of the joist slab 10.
