Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a device capable of the continuous switching and connecting of belt-like paper without interference of the preceding delivery belt-like paper with the following belt-like paper. CONSTITUTION:A belt-like paper switching and connecting device is provided with a connecting means 18 for connecting the belt-like paper delivered from a delivery side paper unwinder 12a to the belt-like paper of a stand-by side paper unwinder 12b; a cutter 19 for cutting the belt-like paper of the delivery side at the time of connecting a fixing means 21 for fixing the tip of the deilvery side belt-like paper at the time of cutting, and a holding means 22 for slackening upward protruding and holding the surplus delivery side belt-like paper which is continuously delivered even after fixing the paper tip with the fixing means 21 and prevents the separated preceding belt-like paper from being wrapped in new belt-like paper.
