DEVICE FOR SUPPLYING LUBRICANT FOR CONTINUOUS CASTING

PURPOSE: To uniformly supply lubricant on the inner wall surface of a mold by interposing the intermediate member, provided with a lubricant supplying groove between a header and a mold. CONSTITUTION: An intermediate member 23 is interposed between a header 20 and a mold 22. On the upper surface part of the intermediate member 23, groove parts 30 are engraved vertically to an end parts 2B and mutually at equal interval. The groove parts 30 are opened in the inner wall of the mold 22 at the end part and mutually connected with at least one of a slotting connected groove part 31 at reverse side end part. When the lubricant is supplied into a lubricant supplying channel 32 from a hole part 33 communicated with a lubricant supplying source, the lubricant is supplied onto an inner wall surface 27 of the mold through the groove 30 of the intermediate member 23. In this way, the superior lubricating effect is obtd. in a hot-top continuous casting.
