PURPOSE:To allow the titled controller to cope with any line type and to simplify the control by a master equipment by providing two sets of line control sections and providing a communication means and a common memory between them and using one of them as a master equipment. CONSTITUTION:The line control is shared to two sets of line control sections 10 (master) and 11 (slave), a corresponding control program 50 is loaded from a master equipment to use the program as the changeover section 12. In transferring a transmission/reception data 51 with the master equipment, it is conducted through a respective main interface control section 13 at a high speed and the transmission/reception of transmission/reception control information 52 is conducted through the master side control section 13. Thus, a communication means 20 applies communication between the master equipment and the slave equipment via the master equipment. Moreover, the common memory 50 stores the transmission/reception data and is accessed in common in the duplicated constitution. Thus, the duplicated line type is coped with and the master equipment applies transmission/reception control without noticing two sets of the line control sections.
