Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To minimize the wear and friction of a latch element. CONSTITUTION:An actuator arm 41 is moved to the dwell position in an I.D. stop part 15 direction by the reverse electromotive force of a spindle motor generated by the drop of rotation of the spindle motor when the power source of a disk drive assembly 10 is turned off. The current by the reverse electromotive force is supplied to a driving permanent magnet on an iron bottom plate existing on one end of a latch arm and a latch arm voice coil forming a part of a magnetic circuit by including the iron upper plate via a delay circuit. A latch magnet 55 exists at the end of the other end of the latch arm and approaches to the iron member 45 at the front end of the actuator arm apart a spacing therefrom without contact. The actuator 40 is pressed to the I.D. stop part 15 existing in the latch position so as to withstand a large impact load by the magnetic force between each other. |
