Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a servo system for a magnetic recording medium increasing recording density and improving operation in an AGC circuit. CONSTITUTION:In this system, a short address track and a long address track with a previously set pattern are used for increasing effective data recording area on a magnetic disk 1. A special pattern succeedingly to an A burst and a B burst patterns is used to each track on the magnetic disk 1 for assisting adjustment on a device. Further, previous to a track address in a sector, the special pattern for identifying whether the related track address is a long address or a short address or a reference sector.
