Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To effectively utilize software resources by realizing parallel execution of an independently designed window system and a standard window system. CONSTITUTION:This graphic display device is provided with the window systems A and B which are mounted so as to simultaneously execute drawing processing of window screens, plural frame memories 13 and 15 which are provided corresponding to the window systems A and B and where data on the window screens of the corresponding window systems A and B are drawn as bit map data corresponding to a CRT 5, and a selecting means 18 which synthesizes the bit data outputted from respective frame memories 13 and 15 and selects bit data of one window screen for the part where the window screens overlap with each other.
